To ensure that your pooja is performed smoothly and effectively, please take a moment to go through the following important guidelines. These are applicable to all poojas and homas offered through our platform.

Pre-Pooja Preparations by the Host
To uphold the sanctity and effectiveness of the pooja, certain preparations must be taken care of by the host:

House Cleaning : Please ensure the house, especially the area where the pooja is to be conducted, is thoroughly cleaned before the priest's arrival.
Basic Household Arrangements : Depending on the pooja, a few basic utensils and household items (like vessels, stove, etc.) might be needed from your side. This will be clearly outlined in the checklist we provide.
Pancha Phala (Five Fruits) : You are required to provide five different types of fruits, including bananas, as part of the offerings.
Deepa Materials : Please arrange the oil (e.g., sesame oil or ghee as per tradition) and cotton wicks for the lamps (Deepa).

What We Provide
To simplify your preparation, we will send you a detailed Checklist prior to the pooja.

This will include:

A complete list of materials needed for your specific pooja.

Items we will bring (including all homa dravyas, pooja essentials, flowers, etc.).

Items you need to provide from your side (clearly marked and minimal).

Expense Determination

Customized Costing : The total cost for each pooja or homa is not fixed and will vary based on several key factors:

Number of Japas and Homas : The intensity and depth of the ritual (more japa counts, multiple homas) will influence the overall cost.

Quantity of Offerings (Havis) : The amount of items used as offerings (like ghee, grains, etc.) directly affects material usage and cost.

Type of Decoration and Setup : Floral decorations, yantra constructions, and altar arrangements are customized as per your request and will also reflect in the final pricing.

This ensures there is no last-minute confusion and helps you stay organized while respecting traditional requirements.
